Indies are the heart of our communities and are truly the lifeblood of children's books. Indies help kids find their books and books find their kids. I know this from personal experience. The Questioneers exist because indie booksellers fell in love with IGGY PECK, ARCHITECT and helped that small quiet book find its readers. Without Indie Booksellers, our young friend would have come and gone as do so many characters, quietly and quickly. Because of Indies, there was a Rosie Revere, an Ada Twist, a Sofia Valdez . . .
